The School(s)...

This picture was on the back cover of BILLBOARD Vol. IV, No. 9; June 9, 1958:

BillBoard June 9, 1958
It's from the Cynthia Adams Attic Collection.
That sure looks like Kevin Elliot's car (lower right)!

Unlike most of the "Village People", some of us from the "North Country"
(north of Sheridan Drive) went to an odd assortment of elementary schools!

For a while, we went to a small schoolhouse on Transit Road - adjacent to the
old Beck's Dairy (wow - memories!). Then we went to Eggertsville School 13.

Cayuga Street School
Somewhere in there, we attended the old Cayuga Road (Street?) School

Academy Street School
For grades 5 and 6, we were allowed to enter the Academy Street School

Then:

Williamsville Central High School

W.C.H.S.
Now known as Williamsville South High School, it is one of three
high schools located in the Williamsville Central School District

W.C.I.
It is considered to carry the legacy of the original Williamsville
school, The Williamsville Classical Institute, which opened in 1857
